Thomas Partey is a lovely boy – George Boateng

Former Ghana assistant coach George Boateng has lavished praise on Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, highlighting his qualities both as a footballer and a person.

Boateng, who worked with Partey during his tenure with the Black Stars, described the player as not only talented on the pitch but also deeply committed to humanitarian causes in his home country, Ghana.

“Partey is a lovely boy who has a very good humanitarian way of living his life and does a lot for the community in Ghana. You can talk to him; he has a very good understanding of what society is about, and he gives so much respect to the coaches and his teammates. As a player, Thomas has done unbelievably well. He is such a valuable asset to the club, and when Arsenal plays without him, you can see the team is different,” Boateng told Tribal Football.

Partey, who joined Arsenal in a €50 million move from Atletico Madrid, earns £200,000 per week. He has consistently used his earnings to support various initiatives in Ghana. Since joining Arsenal, he has made 140 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the current season, clubs like Barcelona are reportedly monitoring his situation closely.
