Representing Ghana at the World Cup is worth dying For – Mahama to Black Stars

President John Dramani Mahama paid a morale-boosting visit to the Black Stars on Wednesday as they prepared for their crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

Addressing the team at the Accra Sports Stadium, Mahama urged the players to give their all and make Ghana proud on the international stage. He emphasized that representing Ghana at the World Cup is an honor worth dying for.

“Playing for the national team is not as lucrative as your clubs but still that sense of pride and patriotism that your nation has gone to the world cup is worth dying for”

The President also reminded the players of the importance of discipline, hard work, and unity, noting that these values are essential to success both in football and beyond.
