Otto Addo has named his first squad since being appointed as Ghana’s head coach for the second time, featuring several new faces and some returning players.

The 26-man squad includes Bolivia-based David Akologo, Nordsjaelland forward Ibrahim Osman, France-based Nathaniel Adjei, and Rangers winger Diomande Mohammed who have all received their first call-ups to the national team.

Asante Kotoko’s Frederick Asare has also been included in the squad, along with left-back Patrick Kpozo, Leicester City winger Fatawu Issahaku, and midfielder Edmund Addo, who returns to the team after a spell away.

Brighton & Hove Albion right-back Tariq Lamptey has been named in the squad following his recovery from an injury that kept him out of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Other notable inclusions in the squad are captain Andre Ayew, forward Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Osman Bukari, Samed Abdul Samed, and Elisha Owusu.

Ghana will face Nigeria on March 22nd before taking on Uganda four days later in two international friendlies.
