West Ham United fans have voted Mohammed Kudus’ brilliant solo goal against Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League as the club’s Goal of the Month for March.

Kudus, 23, mesmerised spectators with a remarkable display of skill, dribbling from his own half to the opponent’s goal before slotting the ball home with his weaker right foot.

His stellar performance didn’t stop there, as he went on to score a brace, leading West Ham to a resounding 4-0 victory over Freiburg at home. This victory overturned a 1-0 deficit from the first leg, securing West Ham’s spot in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Since joining West Ham from Ajax last year, Kudus has made a significant impact in his debut season in the Premier League. The Black Stars attacker has been involved in a total of 18 goals across all competitions, with 13 goals and five assists to his name.

His outstanding contributions have played a pivotal role in West Ham’s current standing in the Premier League, where they currently sit seventh with 45 points after 31 games. As the Hammers aim for another shot at European competition, they are set to face Wolves in their upcoming fixture on Saturday afternoon.

Furthermore, West Ham have advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League, with Kudus netting five goals in the competition so far. As they prepare to take on Bayer Leverkusen, Kudus and his teammates are determined to secure a spot in the semi-finals and continue their remarkable journey in the tournament.

Despite joining West Ham only last summer, Kudus has quickly become an indispensable member of the squad, earning immense support from the fans through his exceptional performances on the pitch.
