Kotoko coach Ogum promises improved performance ahead of Samartex clash

Prosper Narteh Ogum

Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum has assured the fans of the team to expect new team on Sunday as they take on Samartex in Kumasi.

Earlier on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Manhyia, the coach received backing from the life Patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II despite a poor start in the second round of the GPL, having lost six of their last seven games.

Ogum today at training after a two day off due to interruption from the fans preventing the team from training, assured the fans of a new performance.

“I think they should expect a new performance, new energy level, in fact everything new on Sunday in terms of performance. We will make the fans happy at the end of the day”.

Kotoko will be facing Samartex in their next fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium where the life Patron and the club supporters will be expecting a good scoreline.

The playing body alone are expected to meet the King after the said game at Manhyia.

The game is more significant considering the fact that the team seeks to earn their first win at home after losing three consecutively.
