Juventus cruised past PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night in Turin with a 3-1 scoreline in a lopsided Uefa Champions League game.
Turkey international Kenan Yildiz opened the scoring with a well-taken goal from the inside PSV’s box, wrapping his foot around the ball to put the Old Ladies ahead.
Yildiz, whose goal meant he had scored on each of his starts for the Italian side in the Serie A, Copa Italia and Champions League, was running the show for the Bianconeri’s in Del Piero-esque fashion.
However, it was the former Leeds United player, Weston McKennie, who got in on the act with a close-range finish to increase the hosts’ lead to two after 27 minutes.
Juventus came flying out after the interval, with Nicolas Gonzalez tucking away Dusan Vlahovic’s assist to put them in firm control of the game.
Ismael Saibari got a goal for PSV late in stoppage time, which turned out to be merely a consolation as the damage had been caused before the hour mark by Juventus.
Thiago Motta’s side turned their attention to the Serie A, where they face high-flying Napoli in a cracking game on Saturday.
