GFA EXCO member explains Kurt Okraku’s silence on Nana Pooley’s death

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Nana Sarfo Oduro, has disclosed the reason behind FA President Kurt Okraku’s silence on the Nsoatre incident that led to the death of Nana Pooley.

There has been significant uproar and numerous questions regarding Kurt Okraku’s silence on the matter.

According to Sarfo Oduro, Okraku is currently unwell and out of the country, which has prevented him from commenting on the tragic event.

During a meeting between the GFA entourage and Asante Kotoko’s leadership, the first since the incident, Sarfo Oduro shared this information with the club’s IMC Chairman, Nana Apinkra.

“Since the incident occurred, he has not spoken publicly. The reason is that Kurt is not feeling well and is currently not in the country. If he was well, he would have been the first to visit Kotoko’s camp. Once he recovers and returns safely, he will be here,” Sarfo Oduro stated.

Meanwhile, Nana Apinkra has issued a strong warning to the GFA, insisting that Kotoko will not resume football activities unless their proposals are fully addressed.
