Chelsea have significantly bolstered their prospects of securing European football for the upcoming season after a commanding victory against West Ham at Stamford Bridge.

The home side wasted no time asserting their dominance, as Cole Palmer found the back of the net just 15 minutes into the game, capitalising on a loose ball in the West Ham box.

Although West Ham came close to equalising shortly after with Jarrod Bowen’s header striking the crossbar, Chelsea continued to dominate proceedings.

Conor Gallagher doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 30th minute, followed by Noni Madueke’s header six minutes later to extend their advantage to 3-0 before halftime.

In the second half, Nicolas Jackson sealed the victory for the London side with two goals, securing a comprehensive win for the Blues.

With only three games remaining in the season, Chelsea’s campaign is on track for a strong finish. The victory sees them climb to seventh place in the table, just two points behind sixth-placed Newcastle. Meanwhile, West Ham remain in ninth place with two games left to play.

Chelsea’s recent back-to-back victories following their previous 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspurs mark a turnaround for the team, which has faced challenges due to injuries throughout the season.

While they await the outcome of Manchester United’s match against Crystal Palace, They are poised to continue their pursuit of a top-six finish.

Looking ahead, Chelsea will face matches against Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Bournemouth as they aim to conclude the season on a high note.
