49th SWAG Awards : All nominees

The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), the governing body of sports journalists in Ghana, has unveiled all the nominees for the 49th edition of the esteemed SWAG Awards. This highly anticipated event is organized to celebrates sports excellence and recognizes the outstanding achievements of Ghana’s top-performing athletes and sports officials.

The SWAG Awards, which have been consistently honoring sports excellence since 1975, is the longest-running award scheme in Ghana.

According to a statement issued by the General Secretary of SWAG, Charles Osei Asibey, over 80 top-performing athletes and officials who made significant contributions to Ghana’s sports development in the year under review have been shortlisted for honors with African high jump queen, Rose Yeboah and Grace Mintah leading the nominees for topmost award. The nominees will be recognized for their exceptional performances and dedication to their respective sports.
