Mohammed Kudus stole the show on Wednesday, scoring a spectacular first Champions League goal to help Ajax begin their campaign with a 4-0 victory over Rangers.
Aside from the goal, the Ghana international was outstanding and has received praise from football fans on social media.
Ajax looked in control of the game from the onset and scored twice before Kudus created a moment of magic.
The midfielder held off defenders to enter the left-hand side of the penalty area and fire an arrow which crashed into the post and into the net.
Kudus attempted to force his way out of Ajax in the recently ended transfer window due to a lack of regular playing time.
The 22-year-old had been relegated to the bench and boycotted training in an attempt to secure a move to Everton.
Kudus agreed personal terms with Everton, but Ajax blocked the transfer.
Kudus was handed his first start of the season against Rangers after scoring in Ajax’s 4-0 win over Cambuur last Saturday, and the talented playmaker scored again, this time a stunner that has football fans raving about him.

?? Mohammed Kudus is the first player since Serge Gnabry (vs Barcelona 2020) to score a goal, assist a goal and have a 100% pass completion in a Champions League match.

Mohammed Kudus. Injuries & not being given enough games by ETH were his only issue. This kid is a special talent.
