Didi Dramani leaves Black Queens post; Mercy Tagoe takes charge

Didi Dramani is reported to have joined FC Nordsjaelland
Former referee and Assistant Coach of the Black Queens Mercy Tagoe has been appointed as interim coach of the senior women’s national team. Mercy Tagoe made the ascent to the top following the resignation of current coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who according to reports will be joining Danish side FC Nordsjaelland as assistant coach. Mercy Tagoe’s appointment means this will be the first time a female will handle the Black Queens. The Technical Committee at the Ghana Football Association will sit to have further deliberations on who will take up the job permanently. The Black Queens are in the same group with Ivory Coast, Niger and Burkina Faso ahead of the Women’s WAFU Cup, which runs from 10 February to 24 February. By Yaw Ofosu Larbi|editors.3news.com|Ghana
