Chelsea secured a vital 2-0 victory over Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge, ending their two-game losing streak and moving up to tenth place in the Premier League table.

After a lacklustre first half, Chelsea took the lead in the 54th minute through Cole Palmer, who coolly finished off a fine passing move involving Raheem Sterling. Nicolas Jackson doubled the hosts’ advantage just seven minutes later, converting Palmer’s pass after a mistake by Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.

Despite enjoying the majority of possession throughout the game, Chelsea struggled to create clear-cut chances, with Cameron Archer’s long-range effort being their only shot on target in the first half. Djordje Petrovic, making his full debut for the Blues, produced a notable save to deny Gustavo Hamer’s low free-kick, but the visitors rarely threatened otherwise.

Armando Broja, introduced as a second-half substitute, squandered a golden opportunity to seal the win for Chelsea, misdirecting Palmer’s low cross from close range. Nevertheless, the Blues held on for the remainder of the game to claim all three points.
