CAF Women’s Champions League: Hasaacas Ladies play Morocco’s ASFAR in semi-final

Hasaacas Ladies will play Moroccan club ASFAR in the semi-final of the CAF Women’s Champions League after the group stage concluded on Friday.

The match will be played on Monday with the Ghanaian champions heavy favourites to win and advance to the final.

Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and Equatorial Guinea’s Malabo Kings will face off in the other semi-final.

Both games will be played at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.

Hasaacas Ladies are unbeaten after collecting seven points from a possible nine in the group stage.

They made an impressive start with a 3-1 win over Malabo Kings and then brilliantly dispatched AS Mande of Mali in their second game.

With qualification secured, Hasaacas Ladies shared the spoils with Wadi Delga in their final group game.

Hasaacas Ladies are confident of winning the maiden competition to add to the three trophies already won this year.

Yusif Basigi’s Ladies won Ghana Women’s Premier League, Women’s FA Cup and WAFU Zone B championship.
