betPawa has announced a significant change in its partnership with the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Instead of continuing as the headline sponsor of the Ghana Premier League, BetPawa has decided to redirect its focus towards providing direct benefits to players.

Under the revised agreement, BetPawa will increase the locker room bonus paid to players for every win from GHC 150 to GHC 400. Additionally, the company will complete the first phase of the betPawa Park, which is currently under construction at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

betPawa expressed gratitude to the GFA for their continued partnership and emphasized their commitment to contributing to the development and improvement of football standards in Ghana.

The betting company stated that they are committed to implementing an enhanced Locker Room Bonus for footballers, demonstrating their dedication to supporting the players who are at the heart of the game.

The decision to revise the partnership comes after betPawa initially signed a three-year contract in August 2022, pledging to invest a total of $6 million, with an annual contribution of $2 million earmarked for promoting the league.
