Ampem Darkoa to face Morocco’s Sporting Casablanca in semi-finals

Ampem Darkoa Ladies made history by reaching the semi-finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League for the first time on Sunday evening.

They achieved this feat after a dominant 3-1 victory over Huracanes in their final group B match played at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo, Cote d’Ivoire.

Tracy Twum scored a brace, while Yanyimaya Gnabekan added a late strike to ensure a comfortable win for the Ghanaians.

With this victory, Ampem Darkoa finished top of Group B with a better goal difference than defending champions AS Far, who also progressed to the next stage.

The team will now face Sporting Casablanca in the semi-finals on Wednesday evening, with the hope of making it to the finals and bringing home the coveted trophy.

This achievement is a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication, and they will look to make the most of this opportunity to create more history.
