Renowned Nigerian Actor, Yul Edochie who now claims to be a pastor has held his inauguration service as a man of God on his YouTube channel, True Salvation Ministry.

Yul during his service on Sunday, January 29 detailed his journey to the divine calling stressing how God saved him from a near death experience. The actor narrated how he miraculously survived a fatal car accident which he believes took the divine intervention of God.

For this purpose, Yul Edochie is convinced of God’s purpose in his life and decided to heed to the divine calling.

According to him, he initially aimed to begin with a mass congregation in a physical building but God directed him to begin with the resources at his disposal, hence starting with an online service.

“As far back as 2012, 2013, I’ll meet a couple of men of God, pastors and they will always tell me that you are destined to be a minister of God, you can’t run away from it, you are going to be a minister.

“As time went by I started to hear the voice myself like anywhere I am, most of the time when I’m in an enclosed place, just me, I’ll be hearing that voice telling me you are going to work for God,” he said during his virtual gathering.

The Nigerian actor and producer emphasised on the need for love to duel amongst humans and shy away from hatred.

Yul said he will always tell the truth even if it hurts him or his listeners, adding that “only God knows why he chose me”.

The actor on January 24 took to his Instagram page to announce the launch of his church, True Salvation Ministry.

“It’s time to answer the call of God Almighty. It’s time to do His work fully. To spread the true message of God. Tune in, and be transformed,” his post read.

The announcement was accompanied by a poster featuring the actor-turned-preacher to announce the launch of his own ministry.
