A musician-cum-music producer, Kuvie, has asked event organisers and promoters to respect musicians and their work because they also matter as those people in other professions. “Musicians are not low lives; they are as equally hard working… and provide entertainment for everybody. That is a job you need to respect,” he said 3Xtra radio on 3FM 92.7 He urged event organizers to pay artistes what is due them when they are contracted for shows. Kuvie indicated that a lot goes into music production which requires a lot of time and dedication. He is the producer behind hit songs like Joey B’s U&Me and Awoa by Pappy Kojo.
