Rapper and winner of TV3’s Talented Kidz IX Samuel Owusu has touched down in Ghana after his week-long Dubai tour, which he embarked on as part of his prize package as winner of the kids talent reality show. The elated rapper described the trip as fun and an exciting adventure. Samuel Owusu arrived on Saturday afternoon after days of touring some of Dubai’s amazing attraction sites. The tourism destination is highly regarded for its breathtaking attractions and ultra-modern architecture. Samuel visited destinations including the Burj Khalifa,  the Palm Jumeirah Beach as well as the palace of Sheikh Mohammed, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai. Beaming with smiles, the budding talent described the experience as breathtaking. The young rapper had a spectacular experience, enjoying a camel ride at the Desert Safari. Also on the trip were pupils from the British Colombia College. Samuel’s mentor and Talented Kidz judge, Benedict Yartey, was particularly excited about the adventurous experience at the IMG world. “We went on an adventure and had wonderful experiences, and it was fun. Indeed we had a fantastic time,” Uncle Benedict, as he is affectionately called, said. Beyond the fun, the exposure, according to the educationist, will help boost the self-esteem of the promising rapper. “In contemporary education and child development, giving the children the relevant exposures really work on their self-esteem and confidence. “There is a thin line between the African child and the Western child, they can do so many things but because the Western child has so a lot of exposure, normally they dominate over African children. But giving this boy such an experience, he can match every child from every side of the globe,” he noted. Samuel Owusu’s family was at the airport to welcome him. Source: 3news.com| Ghana      ]]>
