Award-winning Ghanaian Drill artiste, Yaw Tog has said that the time spent in the industry has taught him a lot and has made him develop a thick skin over the years.

The Ghanaian rapper asserted that though he was still in his early years, the industry had taught him so much that he is no longer amazed at anything that hits him.

“I’ve been through the process and I’m still in the process. I’ve been through the pain, the smiles and everything. I feel like the industry has taught me a lot. I’ve seen it all and I don’t get surprised again,” he indicated.

In an interview with Cookie Tee on the popular Breakfast show, TV3 Newda,  Yaw Tog disclosed he had thoughts of doing other genres of music aside from drill and even teased the release of a dancehall tune with an unknown but prominent artiste.

“Oh yeah, but I have a dancehall tune which is not out but will be out. Sophia is Afrobeat. I’m also trying to get one big artiste on it so I’m still in the process. I haven’t got him yet. The project is not ready but when it is, I’ll come out and say it,” he pointed out.

Earlier on social media, there was banter on Twitter comparing Nigerian numbers and claims being made that Yaw Tog was a Nigerian.

His numbers were compared to people like Black Bones and Psycho YP. The ‘Sore’ hitmaker expressed how he felt about the whole situation.

“It was great. It was my first year in everything in the industry so it was great. The feeling was nice and we’re still working. We’ve got more years to go to get more numbers,” Yaw Tog shared.
