Saraphina Michael with Giovani Caleb in the 3FM studio[/caption] Tanzanian Afro Pop Singer Saraphina Michael has professed her love for rapper Sarkodie’s songs, revealing that the Ghanaian has a huge following in Tanzania. Saraphina made the disclosure on 3FM’s Drive hosted by Giovani Caleb on Thursday. She is in Ghana for the launch of the SDG LUCKY 3 GAME organised by the National Lotteries Authority. Winning a music reality show in Tanzania Dubbed “Bongo Star Search in 2018”, the Afro Pop singer is out with songs like “Furaha” which means “Joy” on her track list. Doubling as a petroleum chemistry student the singer told Giovani the likes of Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade and Sakordie are favorite artistes in West Africa sidelining dancehall artistes Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. Trying to identify a song by Sarkodie ft Teni she loves so much, Saraphina told Giovani Caleb “There’s massive love for Sakordie’s music in Tanzania”. Notwithstanding the language barrier, his flow and rhythm get Tanzanians loving his craft and music, she said. “I think as Africans we have found a unique sound that cuts across borders.
