Shatta Wale’s mother lashes out at Sammy Flex over gifted home

Sammy Flex and Shatta Wale

Elsie Avemegah, the mother of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, has lashed out at his manager, Sammy Flex, due to the controversy surrounding the house which was rented for her.

In an audio circulating on social media and has since been confirmed by Sammy Flex, Shatta Wale’s mother was heard cautioning Sammy Flex to retract and apologise for the “lies” about a house supposedly bought for her.

“Sammy Flex! I am calling you to warn you that if you don’t stop this nonsense, I am just on my way to Atiave (a town in the Volta region), and I will deal with you. You think I am one of those useless old women… Before I get to Atsiavi, if you do not come online and talk to the whole Ghana and remove that thing from social media, you will regret knowing me. You will regret working with my son.”

Elsie Avemegah also issued a three-day ultimatum to Sammy Flex and asked him to apologise to her amidst threats against him.

However, Sammy Flex in addressing the matter, clarified that his initial announcement about the home was intended to counter the negative narratives about Shatta Wale not helping or taking care of her mother particularly after he had provided financial support to a lady in Kumasi.

In a video shared on his YouTube channel on December 4, Sammy Flex noted that the announcement was necessary to prevent the comments from affecting Shatta’s brand.

He also shared a video of Shatta Wale’s mum giving testimony in church about a house purchased for her by his son, Shatta Wale.

Sammy Flex further explained that the alleged audio recording of Madam Elsie was one he had personally received from her but was leaked online by unknown individuals.
