Multiple award-winning dancehall musician Shatta Wale has donated assorted items including food, drinks and water to inmates of various police stations across the nation’s capital.
The musician also donated an undisclosed amount of money to help with the upkeep of the inmates.
According representatives of Shatta Wale, the donation is to help the inmates in this difficult time when the government has declared a partial lockdown in some cities across the country.
They added that it is unlikely the inmates will have their friends and family visiting them with some essential items they will need to go through this period.
