Ghanaian Dancehall icon Emmanuel Andrew Samini, known on stage as Samini, has come out victorious in the just-ended GIMPA SRC Presidential election.

Samini, who was vying for the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Students Representative Council (SRC) President, won in a landslide victory, beating his opponent by a huge margin.

The elections, which held on Wednesday, June 22 at the school’s premises, saw the dancehall musician and his vice, Mabel Mensah, being announced the new SRC President and Vice (elect).

A video seen online captured the moment Samini came to the school campus to vote.

He took to his Twitter page to also advise all GIMPA students with valid student’s ID to vote for change.

Congrats to the African dancehall king and new GIMPA SRC president.
