We’re a family at Lynx Entertainment, there’s no pressure for one artiste to succeed over another – Maya Blu

Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment

Lynx Entertainment signee and Afropop artiste, Maya Blu has disclosed the cordial relationship that exists between musicians under the record label.

According to her, there’s fair treatment and equal attention given to all artistes under the record label.

Speaking on The Afternoon Show on TV3, Wednesday, May 29, Maya said love and unity supercedes amongst artistes under the record label with no unfair treatment towards the new signees.

‘When you come to Lynx, we are like a family. There’s actually no competition, we are all working towards one goal and there’s no pressure on this one to make it before this one. No, everyone is being taken care of equally.

“One thing I’ve learnt is that we love each other and we are united. I think that’s what is keeping us going,” she stated.

Lynx new signees; Boijake, DSL, St. Lennon and Maya Blu.

Maya recalled one time when Kidi called for short meeting for all the new signees which could be done over a phone call but drove all the way from home for a five minutes meeting.

To her, this signifies the care, respect and love they have for each other.

“Even Kidi, the last time he just called for a meeting for the new artistes, he just came and gave us a little advice, he could have done it on phone but he drove all the way from his house just to come and talk to us. It was just like some five minutes meeting and I was like wow, that’s really cool,” she added.

DSL on his part acknowledged the fact that his ‘senior’ colleagues do not act ‘bossy’ on them but love and respect them (new signees).

Both artistes also referenced Kuami Eugene’s collaboration with all the signees to buttress their point.
