King Paluta, Amerado, headline Afrobeats Summer Jam in US

Ghanaian music stars King Paluta and Amerado will be headline performers at this year’s Afrobeats Summer Jam scheduled for Friday July 26, 2024 in New York, USA.

Talented Ghanaian acts like Lasmid and Nana Nyc will also join King Paluta and Amerado.

Big Hookz and American DJ-turned-musician DJ Noris will captivate audience with their international performances.

The event which is organised by the Chicago Ghanaian Council, is geared towards celebrating Ghanaian music on a global stage.

The event will provide a platform for talented Ghanaian musicians to showcase their craft to a diverse and expansive audience.

According to Nana NYC, a member of the organising committee, the event is specifically designed to catapult Ghanaian music onto the international scene and provide a unique opportunity for participating artistes to gain global recognition.

He is positive that the billed musicians will capitalize on this opportunity to effectively promote themselves to a broader global audience and expand their fan base.

“We are providing a supportive environment for Ghanaian musicians to shine through the Afrobeats Summer Jam platform and equally introduce the richness and diversity of Ghanaian music to a new and enthusiastic audience, he told Graphic Showbiz in an interview.

King Paluta, one of the headlining acts, expressed his excitement for the opportunity to perform for such a global audience.

The Makoma hitmaker told Graphic Showbiz he believes such platforms are crucial for promoting his culture and gaining exposure to larger audiences and he will not fail to deliver.

“Getting the platform to perform will cushion me to continue selling my culture to the wider community and also give me exposure to other bigger platforms,” King Paluta stated.

He assured his fans of delivering an unforgettable experience that will capture the attention of the global community and shine a spotlight on Ghanaian music.

“It’s Ghanaian music to the world and we will prove Ghana has the best music. Our Highlife music is  beautiful. I and my other talented stars such as Amerado are going to put Ghana on the map”, he added.
