Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur has addressed claims on social media that he has quit music and moved out of the country.
In a video shared by an X user, KalyJay who sort to enquire how true the claim was, a YouTuber, DJ Slimming asserted that Kwesi Arthur was leaving the music industry for good.
He claimed that the musician has travelled out of the country and was into other endeavours.
“Kwesi Arthur is no more in Ghana and I can tell you reliably. He won’t come back, he has lost interest in the music and he is working outside Ghana. Now he distributes his music on a private platform and charges money for that for a little profit,” DJ Slimming asserted.
In response to the post by Kaly Jay, the rapper said “Go stream my new jam” and added a link to his new music, ‘Jungle Pt1’.

In the comments section of his post, the rapper’s fans expressed their excitement that he had finally addressed the rumours and released new music.
“I knew the rumors were false. You can’t stop music bro, we need u. The song u just dropped de3 hm be like u for prepare another one cos aka jungle ni mu,” one X user said.
Another fan tweeted, “I know my real GOAT.I know you’re coming back harder.”
Some fans also criticised DJ Slimming for spreading false information.
“A perfect way to shame people,” Mr. Summer noted.
“Dj Slim too he be some guy oo, ah Why you go talk this thing?” Mr. Ato commented.
