Music producer Da’ Hammer mourns the passing of his father

Da’ Hammer, the CEO of Last Two Records, has announced his father’s demise on Sunday, April 30.

In a heartfelt post shared on his social media handles, the music producer expressed his shock at receiving the news of his father’s passing and wrote that the day will remain one of the saddest of his life.

“Today I received that dreaded phone call no one can ever quite be prepared for… but after seeing my dad resting so peacefully in his bed, all I could see was a life well lived,” he tweeted

According to the music producer and entrepreneur, April, 30 has been marred by the death of his father.

“Even though 30th April 2023 will forever remain one of the saddest days of my life, the memories of my childhood up until now seem to have the upper hand,” he revealed.

However, Da’ Hammer was full of hope and gratitude for how well his father lived his life while on earth and shared fond memories of his childhood and beyond.

He expressed gratitude to his father for raising him and his siblings right, adding, “Goodbye, Daddy. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

Accompanying the post was a photo of his late father surrounded by their family, serving as a touching tribute to the departed loved one.

Da’ Hammer is a respected figure in the Ghanaian music industry, having produced hits for several artists including Obrafour, Kwaw Kese, and Tinny. He has also been a mentor to many upcoming musicians in the industry.
