Actress Adu Safowaah completes her 130 hours speech-a-thon GWR attempt

Ghanaian actress Regina Adu Safowaah on Thursday, February 15 completed her attempt at the Guinness World Records (GWR) longest speech marathon by an individual.

She managed to reach her 130 hours target which she embarked on from Friday, February 9 at the La Palm Royal Hotel.

Adu Safowaah surpassed the current record for the longest speech marathon held by Anata Ram KC from Nepal which stands at an impressive 90 hours and 2 minutes from August 27 to 31, 2018.

The speech-a-thon took place at the La Palm Royal beach hotel in Accra and had numerous celebrities present to support her Guinness World Record attempt.

TV Presenters Nana Ama McBrown and Nana Yaa Brefo attended the speech-a-thon event as well as actor Kwaku Manu and gospel musician Piesie Esther.

Other celebrities who attended were; Oheneyere Gifty Anti, Stacy Akua Amoakwaa, Episode and Tung-Teiya Dahamani of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2022.

Adu Sarfowah delivered her speech in three languages; English, Twi and French with a minimum duration of 5 minutes for every speech delivered.

She now awaits the official confirmation from the Guinness World Records.
