In a dramatic turn of events on Mentor Season 12’s Quarter Finals, the episode themed “Legends Night” unfolded as a mix of triumph and tribulation. Despite earning praise from the judges, Jake and Lynna Range faced an unexpected exit, leaving viewers and contestants alike in shock.

Lynna Range, delivering a soulful rendition of Awurama Badu’s 1986 classic “Medofo Adaadaa Me,” showcased her deep connection with highlife music. However, the votes did not align with her powerful performance, sealing her fate on the Mentor stage.

Jake, in a tribute to D’Banj, performed “Fall In Love” from the artist’s 2008 album “The Entertainer.” Despite earning accolades for his costume, crowned the best of the night by Judge Kaywa, Jake’s journey was cut short due to a combination of critiques and unfavorable votes.

Majesti and 6Ca, hailed for their consistent performances throughout the weeks, were saved by the judges, securing their spots in the competition. The quarter-finals marked the end of the road for Jake and Lynna Range, met with a bittersweet send-off package from Vitamilk.

Adding a touch of irony to his exit, Jake not only bid farewell but also left a mark as the first record-breaker of the season, clinching the title of the Best Costumed contestant for the night.

As Mentor heads into the final stretch, the competition becomes even more intense, with just a few weeks remaining to determine the ultimate winner.
