As a model and a student, Teley is the embodiment of a multifaceted young aspiring woman. And she is determined to give her fellow contestants a run for their money.
Berlinda Borteley Bortey, known on stage as Teley, is a 21-year-old generational musician. According to Teley, growing up in a family where music thrives cemented her love and passion to pursue a career with her graceful voice. She disclosed that she is out to continue the tradition and more with the opportunity from TV3’s Mentor reality show.
“Music, for me, is generational. It’s a family thing. And I am here to continue the tradition. I love music so much because, without music, I am nobody.”
Teley speaks with a delicate fondness about her talent. She shared how it has been a great source of comfort during the stormy periods of her life. She hopes to make something that will last and impress people with her God-given talent.
“Whenever I am down, music is what I rely on aside from God. And I promise to make all my supporters proud.”
