Ghana’s most popular music reality show Mentor had this year’s maiden auditions on Tuesday, September 1 at Radach Hotel in Tamale with a lot of talents trooping to the venue.
In all, 44 participants took part in the audition in Tamale which end on Wednesday, September 2.
Denning Edem Hotor, popularly known in music circles as ‘Edem’, served as one of the judges of the day.
There are different talents all aiming at getting picked up to contest for the ultimate prizes – brand new vehicle, 2 mastered songs, and GH¢50,000 worth of airtime across all Media General platforms.
Auditions continue at Akoma FM on Friday, September 4-5, Takoradi on Thursday, September 10-11 at Connect FM and the final auditions will be held in Accra on Tuesday, September 15-16 at the premises of TV3 Network.

This year’s show is scheduled to be held from September to December every Sunday with Nana Kwadwo Addo and MzGee as hosts.
