Ghanaian rapper Medikal has advised the youth not to chose their life partner solely based on love amid his marital problems with Fella.

The rapper is currently facing marital problems with his estranged wife, Fella Makafui and both have indicated their resolve to end their marriage.

Medikal has levelled several accusations and allegations against Fella Makafui on a social media in a recent post narrating his outburst and disenchantment against Fella.

Speaking in an interview with Bola Ray on Star Chat, Thursday, May 24, the ‘Too Risky’ crooner said love should not be the determining factor for two people to tie the knot stressing that marriage is a different ball game.

“Before you get married I don’t think love is enough. Love is not enough for two people to get into marriage. Marriage is a whole different ball game. If you love somebody it doesn’t mean you should get married to them.

He explained extensively that “lovers need counselling, and family to talk to …don’t just love someone, you might end up making a big mistake, that’s the advice I will give people”.

The once lovely couple are currently going through a divorce process and have both pledged to co-parent their daughter.
