Ghanaian artiste Kwesi Arthur has announced that his performance at the Summer Out concert in Barcelona will not come on as scheduled.

The artiste in a tweet on X on Friday, August 16 said he’s facing issues with his visa acquisition, hence, his inability to show up at the concert on Saturday, August 17.

However, Kwesi Arthur added that his team is working to rectify the situation. He further urged Ghanaians in Spain to show up at the concert regardless of his inability to perform as other artistes like Kofi Mole and others will be performing.

“It saddens me to inform you that I will not be able to perform at Summerout in Barcelona tomorrow due to visa issues. My team and I are doing everything we can to rectify this unfortunate situation.

“My brothers will be performing at the show regardless and I urge you guys to go show your support for them,” he tweeted.

The musician said new dates will soon be announced for his “Euro takeover.”

Kwesi Arthur in a post on X on July 16 announced the Summer Out concert. The flyer accompanying the announcement featured not only Kwesi Arthur but also highlighted the presence of another Ghanaian music star, Kofi Mole.

Fans and Ghanaians were elated by the news as it marks another milestone in the artiste’s career.
