Ghanaian actor, Haruna Asamoah, popularly known as Baba Fabregas, has allegedly died in a hotel room in Nigeria.
Haruna Asamoah, famous in the kumawood circles, is said to be dead at age 27 on August 14. According to reports, he complained of severe headaches and died in his sleep later that night. He was found dead by his colleagues when they came to fetch him.
Haruna’s brother revealed that he was in the neighbouring country to close a promotional activation gig for a company. He checked into a hotel where he had a meal prepared by the hotel’s restaurant, after which he reported feeling sick and subsequently retired to bed.
Meanwhile, arrangements are being made to transport his body back to Ghana for postmortem and burial as Kumawood actors gather in his home in Kumasi to pay their respects to the grieving family.
