Tributes from Ghanaian actors have trickled in following the demise of renowned actor, Mawuli Semevo.
Mawuli Semevo who has graced the screens for over four decades succumbed to catastrophic burns sustained in a harrowing house fire on February 20, 2025, at Accra’s Ridge Hospital.
His death has left a vacuum in the hearts of prominent actors who he shared the screens with.
They have taken to social media to eulogise the late actor, reflect on the fond memories they shared together while expressing their condolences to the grieving family.
Personalities like Ken Fiati, George Quaye, Naa Ashorkor and Fred Amugi have expressed their heartfelt condolences for the family of the late actor.
George Quaye wrote: “I’m unable to find the words. Please caption this yourself. Mawuli.”
Naa Ashorkor said: “Sabato! Uncle Mawuli! Our hearts are broken. Rest well kind, Sir.”
“Rest In Perfect Peace, Senior Mawuli Semevor,” Ken Fiati wrote.
He has played roles in movies such as ‘ Harvest at 17’, ‘YOLO’, ‘A Stab in the Dark’, ‘Escape of Love’, ‘Like Cotten Twines’ and ‘The Good Old Days: The Love of AA.’
