The Akoma FM studio was filled with joy and love on Saturday, October 9 when a final year junior high school (JHS) student of Prempeh College Basic School, Theresa Fosu, barged into the studio with a surprise belated birthday package for Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin.
At the peak of the weekend political show ‘Wonsom’, which is also televised on Onua TV every Saturday morning, the 15-year-old artist presented to the host a portrait of himself.
Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin, who was full of smiles and gratitude, was surprised at the same time as to how the teenager creatively and faultlessly drew him.
“This portrait is just me, I’ve seen many portraits with little or no resemblance but the young chap has really done well.”
Although Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin’s birthday was on Friday, September 24, artist Theresa Fosu explained that “I have longed to meet the host in person to present the portrait on his birthday but all efforts proved futile so I didn’t give up”.
“Though it is belated, I hope he will like it.”
The young artist, who’s preparing to write her Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), wants to end up as a fashion designer as a complement to her talent.
