Don’t carry your financial burdens to the bedroom – Clergywoman advises men

Men who are faced with financial difficulties have been urged not to be thinking about their problems while they engage in ‘bedroom activities’.
Founder and Leader of the Authority Bible Church, Rev. Dr. Nanayaa Owusu-Prempeh gave the advice in an interview on TV3’s Confessions over the weekend.
She explained that stress about issues like kids’ school fees, rent, and everyday bills can keep men from freeing their minds completely and savoring intimate moments with their partners.
“I want to plead to the men who have financial problems. Don’t carry the financial problems to the bedroom. It’s a mind game. So, once you are tensed over here, you can’t please yourself. You can’t please the woman,” she advised.
She likened the situation to attending a place of worship, where one is expected to leave their burdens at the door.
“It’s like when you go to the house of God. It says come to me all ye that labour and are heavy-laden and I will give you rest,” she stated.

In addition, Dr. Owusu-Prempeh emphasized the significance of forgiveness in preserving a healthy sexual relationship.
She stated “If you do not forgive your partner, you cannot please them. And even the fact that you are even initiating the sex means that you have to be willing to forgive.”
