Mavins Records boss, Don Jazzy has denied rumours that he uses streaming farms to manipulate stream numbers for his artists.

Speaking in a recent interview, the renowned music producer and musical artiste dispelled the claims, stating that such practices are non-existent, despite popular belief.

The trending debate on streaming farms and fake streams has been on the lips of netizens, with a section of music fans accusing record label owners of using the tactics to inflate the numbers of their artists.

However, Don Jazzy has refuted these claims, insisting that they are baseless and have no place in the music industry.

“There’s no goddamn f**king streaming farm. I don’t know whether people have it but take it from people like us that are succeeding, that are at the forefront. I’m telling you that there’s no goddamn streaming farm. It doesn’t make any sense,” Don Jazzy maintained

According to Don Jazzy, if streaming farms were real, all his artists would be thriving, but that was not the case.

Further buttressing his point, he remarked that the success of an artist was determined by the quality of the music they churned out and their marketing strategy, not by manipulating stream numbers.

“Don’t sit down there and be assuming ‘this person is getting here because there’s a streaming farm somewhere’. Trust me, it’s just going to be affecting you. You will be thinking that it’s unattainable. You cannot get it. Ogbeni, you are doing yourself a disservice,” he said

Don Jazzy also cautioned artists against focusing on fake streams and other distractions, urging them to concentrate on creating beautiful music and promoting it.

“All these side talks of there is a form of streaming farm somewhere, makes you become lazy. Go and create beautiful music and do all you need to do to market your songs.”
