Ghanaian music executive and CEO of the Red Panther Music, Mr. Logic has expressed worry over how some artistes in Ghana don’t appreciate their producers and managers.
According to him, most of the Ghanaian artistes consider it a breakthrough when they get visas to enable them to travel out of the country.
“Our people from here, you do it for them, and they don’t appreciate. You know some of these stories. Some of them get visas, and it’s like a life breakthrough, and you don’t hear from them again,” Mr. Logic said in an interview with Blakk Rasta on the 3FM Urban Blend show.
He also asserted that individuals with mixed heritage better understand and value the dedication put forth by music producers and artistes managers than the local folks.
“I think our people who have the cross breed, they understand how to appreciate the effort that music executives put into talents,” Mr. Logic remarked, underscoring the importance of recognition and acknowledgment within the industry.
The Red Panther Music boss is confident that his newest signee Mo’ Spence, a Jamaican Ghanaian born in Canada has all it takes to become the next biggest Reggae Dancehall artiste in Africa.
“I’m fully confident that Mo’ will not let me down. She doesn’t need a visa to breakthrough. Mo’ has what it takes to become the biggest female Reggae Dancehall artiste in Africa” he predicted.
