Amidst his trial for negligent driving, actor Lil Win has recorded a song while on hospital bed and still receiving treatment.

The song appears to have thanksgiving words following the backlash he received after his tragic incident which led to the death of a three-year-old boy and his subsequent hospitalisation.

Lil Win in the song also paid tribute to the three-year-old boy who lost his life as a result of the accident.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. On May 25, 2024, I was in a terrible accident with my manager @ray_moni, resulting in the loss of a young life. Rest in perfect peace, Nana Yaw.

“I pray that the good Lord grants your parents another child to fulfil your destiny. To all my fans, thank you for your prayers. Special thanks to @kwekuflick @kingpalutamusic & @apyagh for this project.”

The video has since sparked fury from netizens who have criticised Lil Win’s actions questioning the justice system in the country.
