Kuami Eugene speaks on health status after accident

Award-winning singer and songwriter, Kuami Eugene has provided update of his health condition after he was involved in a severe accident.

The artiste who is currently receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Center took to his Instagram page on Thursday, March 28 to express gratitude to God for surviving the accident.

In the pictures shared on his Instagram page, the ‘Monica’ hitmaker could be seen with a splint on his right arm for treatment of what appears to be a broken arm.

Eugene was also seen seated on the hospital bed with a mini speaker and laptop working on a project.

The highlife musician looked healthy and fit as he appreciated the staff of UGMC, family and loved pones for their kind support and well wishes.

“I want to say thank you to God, My family, staff of UGMC and all of you for your prayers, your positive thoughts and your acts of kindness. The support and love that I received have been breathtaking and beyond my expectations,” he wrote on Instagram.

Eugene’s accident 

The artiste was involved in an accident at the N1 Highway near the DSTV office, en route to the Dzowulu traffic light on Sunday, March 17 while on his way home.

Although he survived, Eugene sustained some injuries.

According to eyewitness accounts, the artist was driving a Range Rover with registration number GC-220-21 when he collided with a tipper truck that was moving slowly due to poor visibility caused by darkness and the lack of tail lights.

Together with his male passenger, they were both rushed to the UGMC where they are currently receiving treatment.
