Award-winning highlife/afro beats artiste Kwasi Brenya-Baah, known in showbiz as Brenya, says he intends adopting ‘table sharing’ to get his latest single dubbed Kelewele served to his teeming fans. Table sharing is the practice of seating multiple separate parties (individual customers or groups of customers) who may not know each other at a single restaurant table. The Fast rising musician says after he gave a hint on social media that he will be releasing the song on Tuesday, June 26, he had had many of his fans already asking for links to download it “The feeling is good. my Facebook and WhatsApp inboxes, if I will not be exaggerating, are flooded with the fans’ messages. They want to listen to the song, Kelewele. I get the sense that they are gradually buying into what I have to offer them as a musician. Considering the number of messages received, I may have to get all the fans around one virtual table so I serve them the song at a go,” he told 3news.com. Kelewele, produced by Liquid Beatz, will have lovers of live band music energize on the dancing floor and dance to it as it comes with all the qualities of a live band music; in fact the song was recorded live. Seemingly perplexed by the delicacy of the local cuisine, Brenya asks in Kelewele what could be that secret ingredient that makes it tastes so yummy. But could just the taste of Kelewele be the main motivating factor for the musician to sing about the local dish? Well, Brenya says he needed to tell the world about a food Ghana has and why everybody must have a bite of it. “I was highly inspired by Yvonne Chaka Chaka ‘praising’ the African beer [Pito if you like]. I think it’s about time we as Africans told the world about all the good things we have here. Kelewele, therefore, comes in as a way of promoting Ghana’s food tourism,” he noted. Brenya has under his sleeves a number of hit songs including Life and Barikisu. By Solomon Mensah|3news.com|Ghana]]>
