Senegal's president takes China vaccine live on TV

Senegal’s President Macky Sall has taken his Covid-19 jab live on television.
The West African state has inoculated more than 4,000 people since it launched its vaccination campaign two days ago, following the arrival of 200,000 doses of China’s Siopharm vaccine.
Last week, Mr Sall said the government bought the vaccine, and did not wait to receive doses from the World Health Organization’s Covax scheme, which aims to make it easier for developing nations to puchase them.
Senegal is expecting a further six million doses of the vaccine.
