Schlupp recalled; Wakaso, Braimah still overlooked for Black Stars’ WCQ

Crystal Palace’s defender Jeffrey Schlupp will make a return to the Black Stars after coach Kwesi Appiah name him in his squad for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Congo.

Ghana play the Red Devils on Friday, September 1 before travelling to Brazzaville for the return leg on Tuesday, September 5.

Coach Appiah’s 24-man squad includes a fresh call-up for France-based goalkeeper Lawrence Ati.

WAFA’s Gideon Waja and Aduana Stars’ Jospeh Addo are the only locally based players in the squad with the likes of Christian Atsu returning into the squad.
