An early strike by the Senegalese through Ibrahima Drame sealed their first win at the tournament.
They had drawn goalless with Mali in the opening game while the Satellites had beaten Burundi.
Sports journalist Akosua Addai Amoo told TV3‘s Thierry Nyann on Sports Unlimited that Ghana’s team still possesses some brilliance.
She, however, raised concerns about the slowness of the defence.
Ghana will have to secure a win against Mali in the final group game in order to stand a chance of making it to the semi-final.
The match against Mali will be on Saturday, August 24 at Stade Municipal in Kenitra, Morocco.
