Samuel Boadu has been awarded the prize of the Ghana Premier League manager of the month for May after leading Hearts of Oak to top spot.
Boadu won the award ahead of Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto, Prosper Narteh-Ogum of WAFA and Medeama’s Yaw Preko.
In May, the Phobians played six games, won five and lost one, while scoring eight and conceding two goals.
The former Ghapoha and Berekum Arsenal player will receive 43-inch NASCO Television set, a NASCO Men’s grooming set and a personalised trophy.
The announcement comes two days after Hearts of Oak extended their lead at the top to three points after beating Asante Kotoko 1-0 in Accra.
