Road tolls: Gov’t is confused – Inusah Fuseini

Former Minister for Roads and Highways, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini says the government is confused about what to do in the country.

The former Minister said the government is involved in trial and error, a situation he said does not speak well of the country.

Alhaji Fuseini made the observation in an interview on 3FM’s Sunrise while commenting on the re-introduction of the road toll on Accra-Tema motorway and that of the new roads.

“The government is doing trial and error governance. We cannot trust this government”, he told host, Alfred Ocansey on Tuesday.

He said “the Minister is introducing the road toll but his pride is preventing him from announcing it”.

“The minister should be honest to tell us that they made a mistake in closing the tolls and so we want to re-introduce the road toll and Ghanaians will understand them”.
