Reject ‘the lofty, deceitful promises’ of NPP – Amissah-Arthur

Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has implored a cross-section of students of University of Development Studies-Wa Campus to reject the ‘deceitful’ promises of the opposition New Patriotic Party.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur was addressing members of the Wa Campus branch of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network, TEIN, a student arm of the National Democratic Congress.

The former Governor of the Bank of Ghana described the opposition’s promises as deceitful and a mark of desperation to wrestle power from the NDC.

“Those promises [of the opposition] are unrealistic and unachievable,” he stressed.

“The NDC must rather be retained in power due to its realistic and achievable programmes,” he says, “which are viable and genuine.”

Vice President Amissah-Arthur was at the Wa campus of UDS as part of his five-day tour of the Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regions.
