Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) Mr Suleman Braimah has said the way and manner the two journalists with Citi FM were picked up by the Police on Tuesday May 11 is an indication of an attempt to make the Akufo-Addo administration unpopular.

He wondered why the Police will decided to act in this manner at a this moment.

“I am becoming convinced that some people just want to sabotage the government. If not, Why?  Armed police officers besiege,” he said in a tweet.

A broadcast journalist with Citi TV and Citi FM, Caleb Kudah was arrested by police officers Tuesday for allegedly filming at the premises of the National Security ministry.
