Former Hearts of Oak striker Prince Tagoe has offered to help the club to solve their goalscoring issues following their poor scoring form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak have struggled to identify a prolific goalscorer this season with Kofi Kordzi and Daniel Afriyie departing the club.
Surprisingly Caleb Amankwah, a centre back is their top scorer for the season with four goals which clearly shows the lack of firepower upfront for the Phobians.
Speaking on the issue, Prince Tagoe who won the top scorer award in the Ghana Premier League while playing for Hearts of Oak in 2004 with 18 goals stated that he is willing to offer his support to the club in the midst of their scoring challenges.
“There are strikers in this country but from the way they play and the chances they miss, I don’t think they are really learning and it all boils down to the absence of quality coaches like Oti Akenteng.

“Unlike today, current coaches even lack the confidence to identify a player for an assigned purpose.
“I think it’s high time Hearts of Oak deploy former players like Don Bortey, Ishmael Addo, and some of us who have won the top scorer award before [to help solve their goalscoring issues,” he told Angel TV.
Following their defeat to Medeama SC over the weekend, Hearts of Oak have dropped to seventh place on the league log with three matches to go.
